LOCATION: In Section 24 T5N R4E in St Francis County, Arkansas on Hwy 75 south of I-40 at Round Pond. The property is one air mile southwest of the U.S. Wildlife Refuge, four air miles west of Mud Lake Hunting Club and five miles east of Forrest City, Arkansas.
WRP PROGRAM: Call our office for the WRP information on this property. The WRP program was put in place to create a first class deer and duck hunting property.
Restoration Features: 102 acres of newly planted trees that includes - several different types of Oak, Pecan, Plum, Persimmon and Ash. The plan called for over 29,000 trees to be planted on the farm.
A 14.8 acre area of native grass was planted near the western boundary line near the river. This grass area will provide food and coverage to several different types of animals including deer, doves and turkey.
Another 14 acres of open land is available for food plots that could be used as dove fields.
The farm has the potential to have over 190 acres of open water for waterfowl hunting.
Levees and water control structures have been installed.
